Numbers, Fractions, Decimals, Ratios, Shapes, Measurement-math is all around us. You use math skills in every day activities whether you realize it or not! Take a look around-what do you see? Describe the objects that illustrate when you use fractions, decimals, or ratios. Explain an activity when you would use these skills for “real world” application.

I love math!I see people use it everyday.Math gets me to work harder than usual.A world without math would be miserable and stop us from doing certain things.

I think we need to know math because it will come in handy when we are all grown ups.Math come usefull everyday because of school and the fact that we have to take our S.O.L.s soon.I hope EVERY1 does GREAT!

When I think about when I use fractions,decimals, and numbers I remember I use them in when I look at the clock I see that I am useing numbers. When I buy food I use decimals all the time! When where in math class I use all of them.Fractions,decimals,an numbers and I dont even know it. Every single day I learn more and more about decimals,fractions, and numbers in almost every subject, because if you think about it, in science we use them if we want to use an experiment. Then in Languig Arts we ues them, for example our teacher might say write a pahagraph that fills 1/2 of the page.

Using math well reflects how you live. If your good at math,one could suspect that you can balance a checkbook,save money,spend money,and support a family when you get older. One major real life situation is if your struggling to pay bills and feed your family at the same time. Math is how you can solve it. By rounding the costs you have to pay, you can try to cut down on unessesary costs and save.

I see my parents use fractions when they cook.When I go out I see people paying for things like milk for the family and toys for their kids.I see people looking at shapes of containers and glass for their house.When my dad goes to work he has to use decimals.

When i see people playin knock out they have to use ther math skills to find the spot where to color! Also in sience when u do an experiment sometimes you have to find the measurement of the thing your tryin to do.So in almost in every subject you have to use all types of math such as fractions, decimals,measurement, and ratios.

Everyday we use math. Multipulcation, division, addition, and subbtration is used in my personal everyday life. I have recently seen my parents using math to do taxes, grocery shopping, and just paying the bills. My 4year-old sister has recently been spoted using addition. This I am proud of I know my family has math in every day life!!!!!!

I see my mom useing fractions every day when she cooks dinner. We measure the ingrediants in fractions. We also use decimals when we are in the car. We measure the miles we are going. My mom is a teacher. When she teaches fractions, she also has to make ratios in the cicles to show the fraction. Also when I am danceing, I use fractions of seconds to count the beat. When I go shopping, I use decimals and percents to count the sales. Every body uses math! I agree that math is all around us.

you use math everyday belive it or not. if you look around you”ll see something to do with math. adding, subtracting, multipulcation,and divison is used alot. you”ll use mathamatics most of your life. you”ll need math for sorting out money. time and space needs math.

I use fractions and decimals at the mall or a shopping store, like if something is 50% off. You also use decimals in money and decimals like what fraction is 25% of a dollar. People that want to put new carpet in have to use measurement. When you’re a resteraunt, you have to figure out how much money to tip the waiter. Another way you can use fractions is when you’re driving and you have a fourth of a way left to go. My parents have to either use fractions, decimals, or percents on their taxes. When you cook you have use fractions. When you do the laundry you have to measure how much deturgent. Also you use fractions if you want to divide a pie or a cake. Sports include fractions such as football because of yards.

Well you do use math every day, like when you count your change you need to know how much you got back, so you use math. Also when you see how far you can run you measure with math. When you look at the clock if you didn’t know math you wouldn’t understand it.

When we’re in math class, we use fraction wheels, decimal wheels, and percentage wheels to help us understand more about fractions,decimals, percentage.They are all supposed to represent 100.Things like 0.1,100%,and one tenth,are represented and they’ve helped my class to learn about it. I love math.I get really great grades because of studying what I’ve learned. I love B.E.M.

I use math most often when at the mall or ordering at a restaurant. At the mall you can use fractions during sales and in the resteraunt I most often use decimals in money and looking at the menu. Construction men use measurement in building either a road, house, or building. I use division when trying to split up my lunch with either my family members or friends. Most often that I use subtraction an addition when adding more people to a group or subbtracting people who have lft the group. I use fractions when cooking, cleaning, and taxes. Another way that you can use fractions is when you are tryin’g to get to one place to the other you can say how much space you have to go to get to your destination. One more way that you can use fractions is when you are playing a sport such as football or basketball. Math is really exciting and fun!!! =]

Hi! This is what I say about math. Math is used all over the world. It is used every day. There are 3 different dementions. Some people found a fourth demention. One shape is a hiprocube. Math is a fun subgect.

When i see people use fractions , and decimals it is usually when they are getting change or during math. I think math now is fun , and easy now, because my teacher is teaching me much better than any other teatcher. The place i see them the most is on calculators. I use fractions when I am at the store buying items.I use math where ever I am.When my mom goes to the bank she uses shapes by her coins in the tip jar.Math is needed all through out your life. Education is part of math.Sometimes we use fractions and math in other subjects like sience and social studies.To go to college you have to take algbra wich is advance fractions and shapes.Also you have to study math because you have to take a hard SOL at the end of the school year wich decides if you get an elective in middle school.You might not even go to middle school if you do not pass the math SOL.You should always put math first.

Math is a daily use in life!If there was no math the world would not be a world.People use math every day of there lives! Think of our principals, if they didn’t use math than they would not be principals. Math is most important to me because I need an education when I grow up and if there was no math than there will be no college education.I really want to go to college because I want to prove to myself and others that I can get an education and I will.Teachers would not be teachers if there wre no math.They wouldn’t even be teaching us if they had no math education.I think that as smart as my math teacher is if he didn’t have an education he wouldn’t be teaching us great math skills
